“Capture” Scrapbook Layout Using the Felicity Jane Alexis Kit

Hey friends! I am back with another Felicity Jane Creative Team layout using the stunning Alexis Kit. For this layout, I wanted to keep my design simple and clean – which is easy to do when working with a Felicity Jane Kit!

To start, I created a fun background using the Diamonds and Waves pattern paper from the Alexis Paper Pack, trimmed to 8.5×11. Next, I trimmed a piece of solid white card stock a bit smaller than 8.5×11 to mount on the Diamonds and Waves pattern paper. Before adhering, I punched three half circles into the white card stock; one at the top, bottom and left side of the layout. I backed the punched half circles with pattern paper from the Alexis Paper Pack. I used a pair of scissors to distress the edges of the half circles for a bit of texture and dimension.

Next, I layered two 3×3 photos to the right side of the layout. The photos are mounted on pattern papers from the Alexis Paper Pack. To the photo clusters, I tucked in bits of scrap paper from the kit, a label with the Alexis Stamp phrase “Favorite Photo”, and the top portion of an Alexis Journaling Card that reads “things to note”. It’s always fun to customize your Felicity Jane elements based on your design aesthetic!

To the left of the photos, I added the “Capture” die cut from the Alexis Die Cut Shapes pack. On the top of the Capture die cut, I stamped “Living My Best Life” from the Alexis Stamp Set. To complete the layout, I added a few die cuts pieces and sequin to each half circle.
