Hey Scrap Bosses! I am so excited to share my first project with We R Memory Keepers (American Crafts), using the new Button Press! If you enjoy making buttons, then this tool is a must have!
The We R Memory Keepers Button Press is the perfect tool for all of your button making projects – from embellishments for scrapbook layouts to creating buttons for special occasions (i.e. birthdays).
Today, I am sharing three cards that feature custom button embellishments made with pattern paper from the new Vicki Boutin Storyteller Collection and the WRMK Button Press. I had a blast making these fun embellishments for my projects!
The first card features three small buttons, all created using a variety of pattern papers from the Storyteller Collection. Using the circle die tool that is included with the Button Press, I was able to isolate the pattern paper images that I wanted to be prominent on the buttons. I positioned the three buttons in a row on the left side of my card.
Note: Since the buttons used on all of my projects will not be worn, I opted to remove the pin element and replace it with foam circles (provided with the Button Press tool). That way, I can easily adhere buttons to any project!
For the second card, I used the Button Press to make a medium size button that serves as the middle element of a die cut flower. Using coordinating pattern paper from the Storyteller Collection made this element the focal point of this card.
For the third card, I created a large button that features a precious little bird from the Storyteller Songbird pattern paper. The die tool included with the Button Press made it easy cut this image! This large button was adhered to the right side of the card and layered on top of die cuts from the Storyteller Collection.
I had so much fun using the WRMK Button Press! And I hope you are inspired to create fun projects using this button maker as well.
Stay tuned for more projects coming soon to the Victoria Marie YouTube Channel and Blog! Thanks for stopping by!
