Hello friends! I’m back with another scrapbook layout for the Victoria Marie blog and YouTube Channel! I took a bit of a break to look for my creative mojo (and to recover from bronchitis). It seems as if my world has imploded lately so I am glad to be back on track!
What is the best way to find your creative mojo? Start creating! And that is exactly what I did. Since it has been a few weeks since I have made a process video, I thought I would keep things simple by creating a layout that reflects one of my favorite scrapbook designs – creating a layered background and layered embellishments!
For this layout I used the January 2017 Hip Kit Club scrapbooking kit which included several lovely items from the latest Take Me Away collection by Paige Evans for Pink Paisley (pattern papers, die cut pieces, tags, label, and enamel shapes). To this kit I added a few items from my stash (fringe heart, metal clip “lovely”, wood veneer, resin rose, and tassels). I wanted to create a very whimsical and light page that is representative of my personality!
I created the title using the Thickers “Charming” font (black and white) and “Desktop” font by Dear Lizzy. Using multiple font styles is a great way to jazz up a title on a scrapbook layout. To finish the page, I typed the journaling on my We R Memory Keepers Typecast Typewriter.
Head on over to the Victoria Marie Scraps YouTube channel to see this layout come together! Thanks for stopping by!
