After months of feeling a little lost in the weeds concerning my YouTube content, I am happy to be moving in a slightly different direction. You may have noticed that I haven’t posted a video in over a year. There are many reasons for this but in short, I was ready to make a change.

Introducing the NEW Victoria Marie YouTube Channel!

Over the past 10 years, my YouTube content has focused primarily on scrapbooking. However, since closing Victoria Marie Designs in 2023, I am now ready to feature new content on my YouTube channel, focusing on cozy crafts and hobbies (this includes scrapbooking), creative project series (i.e. sewing, miniatures, organization, etc.), books, lifestyle/travel, and vlog style content.

I want to be a channel that embraces multi-passionate folks who like to dibble and dabble, explore, play, try new hobbies/crafts, and enjoy a cozy and peaceful lifestyle. In other words, if you are a fan of content creators who post videos about their crafting projects, lifestyle, cozy hobbies, books, and more, then you might want to stick around!

Now, if you are wondering if I will continue to make scrapbooking content, the answer is YES, YES, YES, YES, YES! However, my papercrafting content will look a bit different in terms of format and delivery.

As a content creator, I am ready for a new challenge! I have so many interests and topics that I want to explore. Now is a good time to jump in head first! Today on the Victoria Marie YouTube Channel, I share more details about my YouTube channel changes and what to expect going forward.

Other Changes – Letting Go of Social Media, Retiring the Victoria Marie Facebook Group

In 2024, I made the decision to get off of social media – Instagram and Facebook. There are a lot of reasons for this decision, however, I have found that over the years it is hard to connect with our community through these platforms. Also, I want to focus more on my YouTube Channel, blog, newsletter, and Patreon community.

Instagram: The Victoria Marie Designs Instagram account was deleted in 2024. I didn’t make a sweeping announcement about this; I was just simply done with that platform and made the decision to let it go.

Victoria Marie Facebook Group: The Victoria Marie Facebook Group will retire in March 2025. The group will be archived on March 15, 2025. I have hosted this group since 2014 and while it has been a great space to share projects and to grow this community, finding time to maintain the group has become challenging due to time constraints. If you are currently a member of this group, be sure to check out the video I made explaining this decision and how you can continue to be part of the Victoria Marie community going forward.
