Hey friends! I have something really cool to share with you! Scrapbook.com released a new digital cut file bundle called Advent Tree. This cut file is perfect for making custom advent calendars for any project – 12 x 12, 8.5 x 11, and 6 x 8 scrapbook layouts, travelers notebook spreads, cards, and more!
Full Disclosure: I am usually very intimidated by digital cut files like the Advent Tree cut file. Upon first glance, I thought that the process of figuring out how to make this cut file work for a 6×8 spread would be difficult.
Once I figured out my color scheme and overall design, I took the plunge and created an advent calendar for my 6 x 8 Document December album. This was so much fun to make!
Two tree layers are included with this cut file bundle – one with a sold tree outline, the other with door openings. The Advent Tree bundle also comes with a set of numbers (1-24), that can be cut and used to number the small doors. I alternated the numbers with small embellishments from my holiday scrapbooking stash.
Inside the small openings, I used a holiday stamp set from Hero Arts that featured tiny Christmas themed icons and phrases.
I am so happy with how this spread turned out! And no worries! I am filming a short tutorial for the Victoria Marie YouTube channel featuring this cut file, so stay tuned!

The Document December Kit and add ons are amazing! This kit features a variety of elements to include 3×4 and 4×6 pocket cards, die cuts, acrylic embellishments, and puffy stickers.

In previous years, I have used Ali Edward’s December Daily products and project format. I will talk more about my approach to this project in an upcoming video and blog!

Elle’s Studio Document December Kit 2019 (Image: Elle’s Studio) 6×8 Album – SNAP by Simple Stories
The Elle’s Studio Document December Kit is designed to be used with a variety of scrapbook designs – 6×8, 12×12, traveler’s notebook, etc. This year I am using a SNAP by Simple Stories 6×8 album that I purchased from Scrapbook.com.
Inside of the album – WOW!
All of my supplies are organized in a wood container that I bought at Michaels in 2018. I added small metal bins to organize my embellishments, pocket cards, and fibers.
Below are some add on items that coordinate with the Document December Kit. Most of these items are sold separately.

Here’s a new scrapbook process video for your viewing pleasure! This layout features the Rebekah Kit by Felicity Jane.
To see this spread come together, click on the video below. Links to available products used in this video are posted below as well.
To be honest, I have a ton of unused Felicity Jane kits in my stash! And recently I found my Rebekah Kit, tucked away and out of sight. Upon unearthing this beautiful kit, I knew immediately that I wanted to scrapbook these photos of my daughter on her first day of ballet class.
It’s been four years since she last took a dance class and she was so extremely excited to start! I took dance classes as a young girl and I am excited to share my love of dance with my daughter.
Using pattern paper and heavy white card stock, I created a simple background. Two 4×6 photos were centered to the top of the layout, along with a velum pocket from the kit. Initially, my plan was to tuck hidden journaling in the pocket, but I forgot and added journaling lines instead.
Oops! Happy mistake!
I created a tag using a piece of woodgrain pattern paper from the kit and a We R Memory Keepers Tag Punch Board and Reinforcer Hole Punch.
Next, I created clusters of embellishments using the Rebekah die cuts and velum hearts. I added stamped elements from the Rebekah stamp set, along with images from older Felicity Jane stamps – Jeana, Chloe, and Jaimee.
The muted colors worked perfectly for this layout – clean, simple, and elegant. I hope you were inspired to create something beautiful. Thanks for stopping by !

Time for another fun scrapbook process video! This video features an 8.5 x 11 layout called Favorite Girl. Lately, I have been documenting a lot about my daughter Corinne’s growth and development, her changing preferences, and the fact that she is slowing entering into the preteen years.
Le sigh. Where did the time go?
I love taking the time to curate a collection of stories that captures every milestone and discovery of my little girl. The process is exciting and sad all at the same time.
To see how this layout comes together, click on the video below.
I started this layout be layering coordinating pattern papers from the Home + Made by Jen Hadfield 12 x 12 paper pad. I love the combination of the navy blue and cream strip paper with the yellow and pink pattern papers.
I created small clusters of embellishments using chipboard stickers (Jen Hadfield Home + Made Collection) and foiled puffy stars (Gossamer Blue).
To create an interesting title, I like to use more than one font style (Thickers “Wildflower”).
Because the pattern paper does most of the work on this layout, I kept the embellishing simple.
I hope you were inspired to create something beautiful! Thanks for stopping by!
I’m back with another a fun scrapbook process video, now available on the Victoria Marie YouTube Channel. This 12×12 layout features products from the Shay Felicity Jane Kit and documents a story of my daughter working on a homeschool project called “Art and Fashion”. Click below to view this video!
This layout was so much fun to make! I love using coordinating pattern papers to create interesting backgrounds.
The title turned out to be a major focal point on this layout. I like to use a variety of elements for my titles: die cuts, labels, stickers, and letter fonts.
Using smaller photos is a great way to add multiple photos to a 1-page layout.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hey Scrap Bosses! I am back with another fun exclusive digital cut file by Scrapbook.com. To learn more about all of the Scrapbook.com digital cut files, click HERE.
Today, I am using the Color Me Happy cut file bundle. This bundle includes 15 images, available as both a SVG and PNG file. To see this layout come together, be sure to visit the Victoria Marie YouTube Channel!
For this project, I selected the Frame Rainbow cut file. Using pattern paper from the Colored Pencil Paper Pad by Recollections (Michaels), I backed the open spaces of the rainbow with pattern paper.
I used the phrase “Color Me Happy” from the cut file bundle as my title and backed some of the letters with the Colored Pencil pattern paper.
Turning the framed rainbow cut file on it’s side opened up another level of design possibilities! Digital cut files are very versatile!
To complete the layout, I added chipboard and die cut elements, labels, and enamel shapes – all from my stash!
Be sure to head over to Scrapbook.com to check out their full line of digital cut files! Enjoy!
